NURA x Arrival Africa x The Good Company KE is a cross-cultural music collaboration supporting NURA’s cultural residency and public showcase in Kilifi, Kenya, powered by NOISE and AlphaTheta. The initiative reconnects the Black British Jungle and Drum & Bass legacy with its African rhythmic roots by bringing UK pioneers together with East African artists as equal collaborators.
Over a week-long residency at Baobab Studios, eight selected Kenyan artists will co-create new work alongside global pioneers including Fabio & Grooverider, DJ Krust Darren J, Syren Rivers, and Kenyan innovator KÜrïbã—shaping a new sound influenced by Kenyan rhythm, environment, and lived experience. Arrival Africa will document this cultural exchange, while The Good Company KE will produce and broadcast NURA’s “Off-Grid” content from Kilifi on its YouTube channel in Q2 2026.
The residency culminates in NURAFEST, an open-to-the-public community showcase at Distant Relatives, Kilifi, on 6–7 February 2026. More than a festival, NURAFEST marks a historic moment for East Africa’s bass culture, placing Kilifi firmly on the global map as a center for innovation, collaboration, and future-facing bass music.
